Once again the Newcastle Herald challenges short filmmakers from across the Hunter (if not the globe) to come up with a gripping and creative 2 minute micro-movie for The Herald’s 2 Minute Showdown competition.

It began with a conversation over a cappuccino. And a few weeks later ‘The Lunaticks Society of Newcastle’ was born in a quiet Newcastle Hotel.
